Tilques

Push the doors of Château Tilques, our 3* hotel near Saint-Omer. The present castle, built in 1891, replaced an old 17th century manor house and is a superb example of neo-Flemish architecture. The authentic charm of the French countryside can be experienced here.
Of the old buildings, the outbuildings at the restaurant, in the hotel annex, and an arm of the moat at the back of Château Tilques can still be seen.

The hotel offers 26 rooms in the castle and 24 more contemporary rooms in the Pavillon du Parc. Whether you are on holiday or on a seminar, you can enjoy a personalised service and unique comfort. The Château Tilques features a heated indoor swimming pool that is freely accessible to residents, for a wellness break in the soothing surroundings of Saint Omer.

The hotel has also implemented a number of environmentally friendly measures to reduce energy and water consumption and to separate waste, thus limiting our environmental impact. A private car park equipped with Tesla and universal electric charging stations is also available.

& tourism

Make the most of your stay at the Hôtel Château Tilques to discover Saint-Omer, listed as a Town of Art and History. Discover its historic heritage, in particular its French-style public garden and its cathedral, whose 7th-century chapel houses a painting by Rubens.

On the cultural side, visit the blockhouse of Eperlecques, a high place of the Second World War, classified as a Historic Monument. This former German V1 and V2 missile base was built to destroy London. Complete your knowledge by exploring the Helfaut Dome, now a history museum and 3D planetarium. Finally, experience an Austrian steam locomotive on a typical 1950s railcar following the old railway line from Saint-Omer to Boulogne-sur-Mer.

For relaxation, work on your swing on the Aa Saint-Omer golf course, between the Flanders plains and the Boulonnais hills.
